- About Us
Skiathos Travellers is an independent booking intermediary based in Skiathos (operated by local residents). We do not own or directly operate boats, accommodations, or transport.
- Services Provided
We facilitate bookings for: daily cruises, private charters, villa & restaurant bookings, car rentals, hotels/apartments, and related services. All services are provided by third-party operators.
- Booking, Confirmation & Payment
- A booking becomes binding once the required payment or deposit is received and confirmation is sent (via email or WhatsApp).
- You may be required to pay full amount or a deposit, depending on the service.
- All payments are via secure online payment links.
- You must provide accurate contact, identity, and booking information.
- Price, Inclusions & Exclusions
- Prices presented include only the services explicitly listed.
- Any additional fees (fuel, local taxes, tips, transfers) not stated are excluded and are your responsibility.
- Prices may change before final booking confirmation (e.g. due to currency, supplier cost changes) but once confirmed, your price locks in.
- Changes & Cancellations
By Customer:
- You may request changes (dates, number of participants) in writing; these are subject to supplier approval and may incur fees.
- Cancellation policy:
• Up to 7 days prior: full refund
• Up to 3 days: 50% refund
• Less than 24 hours: no refund
By Operator or Due to Unforeseeable Events:
- If a service is canceled by the operator (weather, technical issue, force majeure), you can choose a full refund or reschedule.
- Force Majeure
Neither Skiathos Travellers nor operators will be liable for failures or delays caused by events outside our control (e.g. extreme weather, strikes, government acts).
- Travel Insurance
We strongly advise you to obtain travel, cancellation, and medical insurance covering your trip. Any costs or losses the insurance covers are not our responsibility.
- Customer Obligations & Behavior
- You must comply with crew or operator instructions and safety rules.
- Failure to do so, or disruptive behavior, may lead to removal without refund.
- You are responsible for personal effects; we are not liable for loss or damage.
- Health, Special Needs & Medical Conditions
If you have medical conditions, mobility issues, allergies, or special requirements, you must inform us beforehand. While we pass requests to suppliers, we cannot guarantee accommodation.
- Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements
You are responsible for having valid travel documents, visas, vaccinations, etc. If you are denied entry or incur costs, we are not liable.
- Limitation of Liability
Skiathos Travellers only acts as an intermediary and is not liable for actions, omissions, faults, failures, or negligence of third-party service providers. Participation is at your own risk.
- Complaints & Disputes
- Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days after the service.
- We will respond within 30 days.
- You may bring legal action only in the courts of Volos, Greece.
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Volos, Greece.
- Severability & Entire Agreement
If any clause is invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms constitute the complete agreement between you and Skiathos Travellers regarding the service.
- Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. The version effective at the time of your booking applies.
